EARTHQUAKE!!
Oh well... just thought i would say.. i experienced my first earthquake today....
Heard from Dan that 1 earthquake a year in this region is already quite rare...so perhaps i am lucky or perhaps unlucky..haha.. depends how you choose to view it.
Was roughly 10am this morning when the earthquake of ricther scale 4 hit our building... it shook for quite a while and the whole building creeked. I was on the computer and actually thought i was having one of those seriously bad headaches that you get when you get motion sickness. For those of you that don't know what it feels like... it feels like you're on a boat for too long and everything is moving.... A very awesome force... sweet!!
I heard from others and the news that 5 people died today because of the earthquake...it was a 6 in Nigata..everyone is alive and well here as we are a few hours away from there.
